About U.R.M.U.

The Uttariya Railway Mazdoor Union (URMU) is a Premier Trade Union of Indian Railways, affiliated with the National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) and the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC).

URMU came in to existence on 18th May 1954 with its central office in Ballimaran, Chandani Chowk, Delhi. Later on the establishment was moved to Panchkuian Marg, New Delhi. URMU is registered with the Registrar of Trade Unions at 5, Shyamnath Marg, Delhi under the Registration Number 629.
